Instagram images for tegory% Who else has tried ready rolled puff pastry!? I’m too busy/lazy to make pastry from scratch so I love the Jus Roll brand of ready rolled pastries! I used this today to make my tarts (pictured).
– 1 sheet of ready rolled puff pastry (cut into 4 equal rectangles)
– Tomato chutney (or purée)
– sliced red onion
– tomatoes – capers – olives cut in half (I used stuffed green olives)
– spinach
-vegan Parmesan
1. Spread the tomato chutney (or purée) lightly over the pastry, leave 1cm from the edge of the pastry clear.
2. Add the onion, tomato, olives, capers and spinach.
3. Fold the edges of the pastry square over.
4. Put the tarts in the oven (220 degrees) for 20 minutes.
5. Take the tarts out and lightly cover in Parmesan, then cook for a further 5 mins.
